We’re 2 Years Old! Celebrate With Us in Brooklyn!

Anniversaries merit celebration.

Hey, friends. We don’t know how it happened either, but here we are: The Dot and Line has turned a whopping two years old, John somehow still has a full head of hair, and Eric still hasn’t managed to comb his. Animation is better now than it’s ever been, and there’s never been a better time to talk about it and celebrate it over beers than now. So let’s go do that!

We’ll post up at one of the long tables at the excellent bar Spritzenhaus—located in that untrammeled sprawl that is Brooklyn, New York—on Saturday, February 24, at 8pm. See more deets and RSVP on this Facebook event.

Come one, come all for several rounds of beers and some of the stiffer stuff, conversation with D+L writers and contributors and readers, and very feelingsy confessions about your favorite cartoons. Eric will definitely inhale a sausage and a pretzel with hot mustard and cheese in the first five minutes. John will obviously spend most of the night giggling. There is no cover, but there are definitely some exciting announcements to be revealed to those present! We hope you can join us.

Thanks for reading The Dot and Line, where we talk about animation of all kinds. Don’t forget to for this article and follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
